Who Am I?

I am a United States-born-and-raised freelance wordsmith, photographer and passionate snow skier. I also consider myself a citizen of the world, having lived in Europe, North America and South America, including the majestic land of Patagonia, Argentina.

Priding myself as an efficient writer, I have the knack for producing lively, intriguing, entertaining pieces always within the deadline needed. I am an energetic, detail-oriented individual with a vast knowledge base. Having traveled the world since my teens, I also have the background to write from many different viewpoints.

I am a graduate of Western Washington University and the Institute of Children's Literature. I also attended the University of Utah, United States Congress Youth Exchange Program (year-long German exchange student) and writing courses with AWAI (American Writing and Artist Inc). I am a licensed Emergency Medical Technician and have a Bachelor of Arts degree in German literature and a minor in pre-physical therapy.

My writings can be seen in such publications as International Living Magazine, Transitions Abroad, and Curve Magazine. I, also, am editor and writer for My Happy Path, a site focused on activating global happiness, and the blog for Mountain Rider’s Alliance, a company dedicated to creating values-based ski areas that produce more energy than they consume.

I am versed in MS Word, Windows XP, HTML, Wordpress, Quickbooks, Skype and OpenOffice, Facebook and Twitter.

My tools of the trade include a Toshiba Satellite Notebook, high quality digital camera, audio recorder, scanner and fun attitude.

I have a large selection of beautiful travel and ski photos for stock photography.

I speak English, Spanish and German fluently.

I have a current United States Passport and am able to travel anywhere needed for that special piece.
