For Shanie’s ONLINE classes and programs ~ Please have your ZOOM video on the entire time. For live classes at the East Whatcom Resource Center or Mt Baker Visitor Center, please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to get settled into your space.

Gold Star Membership - $125 per month, benefits include Unlimited classes ($180 value), My Happy Path Online Yoga Studio Membership ($99 value), 2 one-on-one sessions via Zoom ($150 value)

Drop-in rate – 20 per class;
Donation Drop-ins: To eliminate financial barriers for taking yoga, drop-in classes are donation based. The suggested drop-in rate is $15 per class; please pay less if that helps you afford class and attend more often. You can pay as low as $0. If you are able, consider paying it forward to cover someone else.

By incorporating yoga therapy techniques, the aim is to increase our resilience and regulation of our nervous system. Through practices such as somatic movement, visualization, myofascial release, meditation and breathing exercises, we can change our mood, emotions, and thinking. This provides healthy coping mechanisms for managing chronic pain as well as the shifts in life that can come from a TBI or osteoporosis diagnosis. Yoga helps us cultivate sensitivity to our body, mind, and emotions, allowing us to settle into what we are feeling within the body. This is called interoception and can be helpful in down-regulating the nervous system, which is essential for healing and managing pain. Yoga therapy also helps build awareness through safe movement, building strength and improving proprioception, allowing for more easeful movement.

In our Private Yoga Therapy sessions, we will address specific therapeutic needs specific to you using a customized protocol of Yoga Therapy modalities including asanas, pranayama, relaxation techniques, postural assessment and meditation.

A client begins with an in-depth consultation, focusing on the individual lifestyle enhancements needed. Empowering you to access your inner healer, Yoga Therapy is most often comprised of five to ten sessions, in which techniques and tools will be taught to you, allowing you the empowering freedom to continue on your own as wellness becomes more prominent.
