Working in tandem with Western Medicine, Yoga Therapy is a vital component in reversing the damage of chronic illness such as diabetes, cancer, thyroid gland dysfunction, osteoporosis/osteopenia, hypertension, cardiac and respiratory challenges as well as assisting greatly in life-enhancement for those on the Autism Spectrum and people recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury.

As a trained Yoga Therapist with the Ananda School of Yoga and Meditation, I will help you enhance brain function, manage health challenges, reduce chronic pain symptoms, restore balance, increase vitality and lower the needs of pharmaceutical drugs.

The goal of Yoga Therapy is to eliminate, reduce and manage symptoms that cause suffering. Our sessions together will improve overall body function, help prevent occurrence or reoccurrence of underlying causes of illness and assist you in moving toward improved health and wellbeing. In addition, it will empower you to change your relationship to and identification with your health condition, bringing more light, ease and grace to the situation.

In our Private Yoga Therapy sessions, we will address specific therapeutic needs specific to you using a customized protocol of Yoga Therapy modalities including asanas, pranayama, relaxation techniques, postural assessment and meditation.

A client begins with an in-depth consultation, focusing on the individual lifestyle enhancements needed. Empowering you to access your inner healer, Yoga Therapy is most often comprised of five to ten sessions, in which techniques and tools will be taught to you, allowing you the empowering freedom to continue on your own as wellness becomes more prominent.

An initial Yoga Therapy session runs 90 minutes and follow ups are 60 minutes in length.

Pricing for Yoga Therapy Sessions:

  • Initial Intake Session (90 Minutes): $150
  • Private 60-minute Yoga Therapy Session: $125
  • Package of five (5) 60-minute Yoga Therapy Sessions: $500 ($100 each)

Travel Fee

  • Session are available in your home by appointment. A $25 additional travel fee will be applied for Nevada and Placer Counties. I also do long distance appointments via Zoom or FaceTime.
